Smooth visuals for a laid back track from the Brugal y Presidentes ep.

Django Unchained.

Firstly, I’d like to say that I liked the film. It was a very wild but brave and interesting movie. Quentin Tarantino is a skilled storyteller who didn’t dilly-dally around with the plot of this film like say a Kill Bill 2.
The allstar cast, comedic breaks, witty dialouge and attention to detail made a terrible part of American history watchable. I think having actors that we have vested interests in helped take the sting away at times. Jamie Foxx was superb in translating the anxiety of being separated from his wife as well as his determination and passion to reunite with her.
Rightfully so, the movie is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way as people debate whether Tarantino gets a pass as a compassionate artist or is he an angry closet bigot? I don’t know, but he did make another pretty good flick that went against the Hollywood status quo. So in the end, I feel that the conversations being created as we discuss what happened at “Candie Land” are possibly worth more than all of the controversy.

Iron Age: KA & Roc Marciano
Ahh yes! The long awaited final video from KA’s epic album Grief Pedigree. Interestingly enough, the last video of the Grief Pedigree series happens to be a well calculated starting point for his project with fellow dart specialist Roc Marciano, the only feature on Grief Pedigree – as was Ka on Roc’s classic offering Marcberg.
In this video KA and Roc Marci spread their wings to what appears to be LA or at least the west coast judging by the scenery and graffiti styles. Bred in Brooklyn and Long Island respectively, the video is a testament to their commitment of releasing quality music and visuals wherever their Tims touch down.
