It’s still cold here in Nyc, but my mind is still drifting to the warm places that I’ve been.
Nogales, Mexico:
This was my first time going to a border town. I saw first hand how easy it was for Americans to come and go, but very difficult for our neighbors to enter the US.
We drove from Arizona (the state that Nogales borders) right to Mexico. Actually since we were driving a rental, it specifically stated in the contract that we were not allowed to drive into any foreign countries. No biggie, they had parking right there.
Oh yeah, the towns on either side of the border were called Nogales. You had Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Mexico.
Being even more southern than Arizona, you know the place was hot as hell. I wasn’t sure what to expect on the other side of the border.
USA Side:
^^ The actual border.
